Darkan Recreation Day 17th and 18th May 2025
Our second event for the year is at Darkan on the 17th and 18th May which will be run under a recreational permit and is open to all VMXWA, Classic MX and Vinduro members. This is a Pre 2004 day with individual classes run being determined on the day depending on entries and there will be a junior class for anyone with Juniors.
Camping Saturday night is encouraged and there is a bbq and microwave available to cook your dinner. There are bacon and egg rolls available Sunday morning for Breakfast at a cost of $5 each. There is also a coffee machine at $2 (please bring your own cup).

-Riders briefing 1130
-On track after briefing at 1200

-Sign on 0730
-Riders briefing 0830
-On track 0900 to 1400
Cost to ride is $50 and one event recreational licences will be available on the day for $45. One event recreational licences are also available on ridernet (www.ridernet.com.au) leading up to the event at a cost of $33. For those that need assistance with purchasing one event licences on ridernet there is a guide on the website under the documents tab or click here, however please feel free to contact Robert or Dennis if you get stuck and they’ll walk you through the process, one event licences are cheaper purchased online through ridernet and reduce the paperwork at sign on. Darkan is a recreation day so select Recreation licence and then one event recreational.
Please make sure you bring the correct cash with you for the weekend as there are no eftpos facilities.
Darkan is on a working farm so NO tear offs, NO individual fires and NO dogs.
